Some upheaval you can classify as evil. But other sources are good forces. We look at history, and really it's just a mystery. But if you read between the lines, you'll see the signs.
Was it the necessity of the times that they decided to commit those crimes? Subjugated to their will there was no way to pay the bill. Does that mean that we ignore what we rightfully should deplore? Or now today, should we go again astray?
They say the world is coming to an end. So we have to adopt an old trend. They try to subvert our expectation to create a new slave nation. Without the spirit of fear, they can't act as our puppeteer. Can we really trust the doomsayer of today when they depend on our dismay?
Non-for-profit indoctrination that's what I call mass formation. The religions of the future look bleak because they depend on killing the soul of critique. They claim that to let your spirit speak is to oppress the weak. The poor misguided fools, do they think we are all tools?
A state of permanent stagnation. That's what they call conservation. Today we are so blessed we call ourselves the best. Yet without these crimes, we'd not have these better times. Does that mean they were okay? No, but it's better than burning it all away.
Yet we put our long-dead father on the stand and repeat the crimes under a new brand. I warn you now if this is your choice, you'd had better rejoice when you lose your voice.
One day they will use your innocence of today, as a crime to be done with you and cast you away. But this is what you wanted. Tear down the statue and make way for your modern-day virtue. The new elites have signaled: destroy and burn; after all, is it not your turn? Oh, my poor boy, if only you could discern where you should place your concern.
We charge these giants, on which we stand, for crimes invented and then call ourselves grand. Without their mistakes, we'd never have known what it takes. Now we self-flagellate to continue calling ourselves great. Our world is in our minds. That's why we find ourselves in binds.
Freedom comes from adopting responsibilities. That's why we should be expanding our abilities. But instead, we stand on our virtue to take away the rights of those not in our purview. With slaves out of sight, we think of ourselves in the right. This is our ultimate hypocrisy; we've made our god our bureaucracy.
